Welcome to Arnold & Sierra Vacation Rentals. The following are some of our policies to help you understand our rental program and to make your stay with us a pleasurable experience so you will want to return again and again.

LIMIT: The quoted rates accommodate up to 8 persons. If there are over 8 people and the cabin can accommodate them, any additional persons are $10.00 plus tax per person per night. Children 8 years and younger are free but counted in the cabin limit. It is necessary for us to know the exact number of people in your party when you check in.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are accepted 6 months in advance. Upon making your verbal reservation, we will hold it for you for 5 days. If we have not received your security deposit within the 5 day period, your reservation will no longer be held for you. As soon as we receive your security deposit, we will mail you a confirmation stating our policies, arrival & departure dates, a description of the cabin and the rental amount due.

SECURITY DEPOSITS: A $150.00 security deposit is required in advance on all cabins. This is refundable within 21 days of your departure as long as the premises are left in a clean, rentable condition and there is no damage. Some cabins may allow pets. If you are planning on bringing a pet, you must notify us at the time the reservation is made. An additional $50.00 security deposit is required. If you take a pet into a cabin that does not allow pets, you will forfeit your deposit.

PAYMENT OF RENT DUE: The rental rate is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If reservations are made less than 30 days prior to your arrival, payment in full is due immediately. We do not accept credit cards. Payment may be made by personal check, money order or cashier's check. There is a $50.00 fee on all returned checks.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A thirty (30) day cancellation is required in order to receive a refund, less a $25.00 processing fee. If you cancel after the cancellation period and we are able to re-rent the cabin, monies will be refunded less a $25.00 processing fee out of your security deposit. If you cancel after the cancellation period and we are unable to re-rent the cabin, you will forfeit all monies paid.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME: Check-in time is after 2PM. Arrangements for late arrivals after 5PM (or office hours) can be made by using a lock box located at our office. Check-out time is 11AM. By prior arrangement, and subject to availability, early arrival at 11AM or a late check-out at 4PM can be booked for a charge of $45.00 plus tax. An unauthorized late checkout will result in a full night's charge.

CLEANING SERVICE: A cleaning service is available upon your departure for a minimum of $60.00 for a A and AA rated cabin and $75.00 for a AAA and Executive rated cabin. Arrangements are to be made in advance by calling our office. If you do not wish to use the cleaning service, you are required to clean. A cabin check-out sheet is provided for your convenience. If you do not complete these items, any required cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit. Some of our cabins have a mandatory cleaning service. WHAT TO BRING: Our cabins are privately owned, completely furnished, and fully equipped for housekeeping. Blankets and pillows are provided. You will need to bring your own bed linens, bath & kitchen towels, paper products and personal toiletry items. Many of our cabins are supplied with special amenities for your enjoyment. Please check the cabin descriptions for these amenities.

WINTER SEASON: It is always advisable to carry chains for your vehicle during the winter months. In case of snow, the driveway of your rental cabin will be plowed to allow the parking of one car only on the day of your arrival, as parking on the street it not allowed. Clearing for the parking of other vehicles is your responsibility. You may call or check our web site ** Tips forWinter Driving for current weather conditions. Firewood is provided for you at the cabins. We do suggest you bring Duroflame Firestarters for ease and convenience in starting your fires.

SUMMER SEASON: If you wish to use any of the recreational facilities as a guest, you must stay in a cabin located in that particular subdivision. There may be additional fees charged by the Homeowners Associations for the use of their facilities. Snowflake Lodge is located in the Blue Lake Springs area.
