Our cabin is a charming chalet home in the California Sierra Nevada mountain range in the Stanislaus
National Forest. Near the town of Arnold, surrounded by trees and fresh mountain air you will find what
you’re looking for, no matter the season. We are minutes from Calaveras Big Trees State Park which
houses the largest sequoias in the world. Come Summer, paddleboard at nearby lakes and BBQ on the
deck. In Winter months expect to build snowmen and hit the slopes at the local Bear Valley Ski Resort.
Our family friendly and inviting cabin is sure to fit your needs.
The space:
Upon entry to the main level, you will be greeted with elevated ceilings with beams and
plenty of sunlight beaming in from the chalet windows. The living room is comfortable with a sofa and
loveseat, all pointed towards the beautiful wood stove, perfect for wood burning fires. The smart TV with
ROKU is located in the living area, which flows nicely with formal dining space for 8. Four extra seats are
at the countertop off the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked. The main level is where you will find the bathroom as
well as the main large bedroom, with King size memory foam bed and comfort bedding. Upstairs will lead you
to a foosball table for fun and games and two small chalet cozy bedrooms. One bedroom contains a Queen bed
and dresser. The other being a kid-friendly room with one twin bed, as well as a full bed with a twin trundle for pull out.
Downstairs is a basement/bonus area that includes a mudroom style storage and hooks for hanging
coats and clothing.
The Outdoor Area:
The cabin is located off beautiful Highway 4 tucked in a beautiful forest neighborhood on a half an acre.
The driveway has a bit of a decline upon arrival. Driveway fits two vehicles comfortably with one
additional parking spot on the street (can not be used during winter months) . The deck space is
spacious, wrapping around 75 percent of the home. The deck space off the main bedroom has a propane fire pit
with 8 adorondack chairs, perfect for story telling and s’more roasting. The other side of the deck holds the BBQ
area and BBQ tools.
Amenities at Blissful Pines range from whole house generator, to fully stocked kitchen, to trustworthy
baby items, and more. Xfinity Wifi to stay connected, Nest thermostat, keyless entry, and dusk till dawn
porch light.
Kitchen amenities includes:
Cutlery for 8, sets of kid plates, bowls and cutlery, serveware for 8, bakeware, wine glasses, coffee mugs,
gas stove, cast iron skillets, pots and pans, crock pot, blender, toaster, electric mixer, muffin tins, mixing
bowls, serving dishes, Keruig coffee maker dual maker with pot and Kcups, pizza pan, cookie sheets,
brita water pitcher, quality knife block set, cutting boards, cookbooks.
Bathroom amenities includes:
Shower, no tub. Supplying shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Additional large mirror for
extra getting ready space. Vanity, hair dryer, spacious shelves and hooks for items. White towels,
washcloths, hand towels, face washcloths for makeup removal. All paper products included.
Other amenities: The 55” Smart TV with ROKU, allowing guests to log into their own accounts for
streaming platforms such as Netflix and Disney +. A variety of games and puzzles. Adults and kids!
Games include Scrabble, Yahtzee!, Clue, playing cards, dominoes, and coloring books and coloring items,
Lincoln logs.
Summer/warm months: includes 6 beach/lake towels, a large picnic style beach mat for taking to lake,
beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs, a Hyperlite paddleboard and sand toys for kiddos.
Winter/snow months: We provide snow sleds.
HOA Center- Our guests have full access to the neighborhood Rec center with the highest membership
available. Center includes pool, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, picnic area, snack shack,
pool holds swim lesson classes and family fun nights occasionally.
