Welcome to Bigfoot Escape, a cozy Dorrington cabin tucked beneath the trees and made for easy mountain getaways. Whether you’re heading up for fresh air, quiet mornings, snow play, hiking, lake days, or a relaxed weekend with family, this cabin gives you a comfortable home base in the woods.
Inside, the main level has a warm and welcoming living area with a wood stove, smart TV, full-size kitchen, dining space, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has everything you need for simple cabin meals, morning coffee from the Keurig, and evenings gathered around the table after a day outside.
The cabin sleeps up to 7 guests with a king bedroom, a full/twin bunk room, and a queen bedroom on the lower level. The downstairs queen bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, plus a mini split for heat and air conditioning, making it a nice extra space for guests who want a bit more privacy.
Step outside to enjoy the deck, BBQ, and peaceful forest setting. It’s the kind of place where coffee tastes better in the trees, kids can imagine Bigfoot just beyond the pines, and evenings feel slower in the best way.
A few important layout notes: guests walk down exterior stairs from the parking area to reach the cabin. The downstairs queen bedroom and bathroom are accessed from outside only by exiting through the back door and re-entering through the lower-level exterior entrance. There is no interior staircase connecting the main level and downstairs space.
Bigfoot Escape is a simple, comfortable mountain cabin with WiFi, smart TV, washer/dryer, wood stove, mini splits, deck, BBQ, and parking for 2 cars. It’s best for guests who want a peaceful wooded setting, classic cabin charm, and a practical place to enjoy Dorrington and the surrounding mountains.
