Step into Knotty Pine Palace, a cozy Sierra cabin retreat that feels straight out of a Hallmark movie — nestled in the highly sought-after Lakemont Pines private lake community, available exclusively to homeowners and guests. Enjoy private lake access with swimming docks, sandy beaches, a snack shack, and free use of paddleboards, kayaks, and boats during the season. With family-friendly activities and peaceful forest surroundings, it’s the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
The Cabin
This single-story, newly remodeled cabin features a warm, open-concept layout with soaring pine ceilings that create an inviting mountain ambiance. The living area is ideal for gathering after a day outdoors, complete with:
•Gas log stove for cozy evenings
•Central heat & air conditioning for year-round comfort
•High-speed Wi-Fi to stay connected
•The home comfortably sleeps 7 guests and includes:
•Primary suite with private bathroom
•Second bedroom with queen bed
•Third bedroom with bunk bed (double on bottom, twin on top)
Outdoor Living
You may never want to leave the deck! Designed for relaxing and entertaining, the outdoor space includes:
•Comfortable outdoor seating and tables
•Propane fire pit for evening gatherings
•Propane BBQ for outdoor meals
•Private hot tub for soaking under the stars

Pet-Friendly
Well-behaved, housebroken dogs are welcome (max 2, over 1 year old). Dogs may not be left unattended. $50 non-refundable pet fee. Please include pet details in your reservation notes.

Our property management team will contact you via your preferred method (email or text) to complete a required rental agreement and provide check-in details.

The 6 of us (2 Grandparents 2 parents 2 kiddos ages 5 & 7) had a wonderful stay at the Knotty Cabin!! It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck every morning for breakfast and every evening after a busy day. Beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds! Access to the lake was great as it was a beautiful place to relax and play. Thanks for the stay!!

Lovely and peaceful! Our stay was too short... wanted at least another day or two to enjoy the lake and the lovely back deck!!! The cabin was nicely laid out with everything we needed for our cooking needs as well as comfort needs. I would highly recommend this spot for a small group getaway.

We have stayed in many different cabins in the Lakemont Pines community, but the Knotty Pine cabin was by far the best. Clean, comfortable, beautiful deck, great kitchen, great bedrooms ... but by far the best thing: the AC! We'll be back!

We stayed at our rental for the weekend with my son, his wife and their two kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the convenience and efficiency of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools we needed for cooking meals and the house was designed well for use with a family in mind. It was located centrally so we could go to Big Trees state park and still have enough time to go to the lake and chill there with our family. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a lovely time at the Knotty Pine. It has everything we needed... nice mattresses, clean kitchenware. The entrance is very accessible which is a big plus for me also... just drive up and walk in/no stairs! It's very close to the beautiful Lakemont Pines lake which we enjoyed every day of our stay.

We had a wonderful time in Arnold. The house is amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The back patio is right next to the neighbours back patio so there is not a lot of privacy. Other than being able to see the neighbours on their patio the location was great. Close to hiking and the HOA lake which was a lot of fun for the kids.

This cabin is exactly as described. It’s so cute and cozy. Very nicely furnished and decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked. Owners are extremely accommodating and communication was very quick. Located close to a lake with a beach and a supermarket which is a huge plus. I highly recommend this property.

ood location, short trip to Around grocery store, but also convenient to go into Murphys. Kitchen is well equipped and linen quality and quantity was also very good. Small but efficient bedrooms, we had plenty of space for 5 adults. Host added special decorations for our Thanksgiving stay which added to our celebration. Good hiking from the property and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
