My family and I really enjoyed our stay at lazy bones cabin. Cabin is completely amazing. It has everything, beautiful views. We love it.

This was our second stay and we loved it. The place has a great design where upstairs is all communal and downstairs has great bedrooms spread far apart so everyone is comfortable.

We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend! The house was clean and the remodel looks great! We especially enjoyed the huge jetted bathtub to unwind after hiking (and parenting). The game room is a great bonus to the house and is fully stocked with games and books for all ages of kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need (which is often not the case for rental cabins). We will definitely try to book again in the future!

This cabin was great! It has everything that you would need and the game room was a big hit with my kids. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen is well stocked.
A special shout-out to Sheila and Derek at Dorrington Realty. My son left his watch and they were wonderful and shipped it back to us!

I have stayed at tons of rental homes and this houses was in my top 3. It is gorgeous, easy, comfortable, affordable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Super spacious and well appointed, and so clean. There was plenty of room for our 3yo to play - we especially enjoyed the loft and making a huge bubble bath. We loved the wood stove for extra coziness. Snow play stuff was a great bonus too!One thing I’d recommend to other guests is pack your slippers because the primary bathroom floor can be chilly.Overall, we’d happily stay here again and found it very comfy.

We had a great stay over the Christmas/New Year week. The house is fantastic. It is spacious and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The openness of the floor plan to allow guests to interact with each other while cooking, dining, or relaxing in the family room area. The detached game room under the garage was a great treat for the kids. Bedrooms had comfortable beds. Access to the garage to park our vehicle was fantastic too. I would definitely stay here again.

After the stay at the lodge, we now want to keep going back!

Just got back from the weekend at lazy bones lodge and we want to book our next stay already. Check in was a breeze and easy to follow. Cabin was big and cozy for our group. We loved that we had access to the recreation center. The kids loved it. We will definitely come back for our next vacation in big trees. Thanks for hosting us.

We loved our stay at the cabin over New Years Eve. The cabin was clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked - everything that we needed was there. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement. There was plenty of firewood to keep the fireplace going. We also liked being able to walk to the Lube Room for lunch.

We could not have been happier with our stay at this property! It was super cozy and well appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The trip to Bear Valley and sno- parks was easy, as was drives into Arnold and Murphy’s for dinner. We will be booking this place next time we are headed to the mountains.

This is a wonderful rental, including great amenities such as laundry, strong wifi and ample firewood. The kitchen is stocked with everything one could want in an inviting open plan. The place was super clean and well maintained, and its proximity to Hwy 4 is a plus. The only problem we had was with the fireplace; the grill is so big and high off the fireplace floor that we couldn't get enough coals going to keep logs lit (and we are not inexperienced fire builders!).

Everything went very well except one of your employees should have turned on the Air Conditioning before we arrived. Was a oven in there.

We had a wonderful time. The weather was hot so the house was very warm but we were able to turn upthe air. it was cooler downstairs.

The house was perfect for our group of 8. There were tons of games. Kitchen is very well stocked.

My girls trip to this home was fantastic! The location was fabulous to attend a concert at Ironstone Amphitheatre, and to go wine tasting in Murphys. The house was fully stocked and very clean. It was easy to access and the rental mgmt. folks were great! We will be back for sure!!!

A very nice house. We had a nice time here. There were a couple of minor issues. A broken chair, no notes for the slot machine, a broken vertical blind, very vague instructions for a complex thermostat.

My family stayed here for a wedding weekend. We did not spend a lot of time there, but it was great for sleeping, meals and enjoying the view. The jacuzzis and the sauna worked well. There were plenty of towels. The children enjoyed the game room and the video games. The slot machine was fun for the children until it ran out of paper. The water dispenser in the refrigerator had a light and warning sound that it needed to be replaced. The fence around the deck could use replacing. Follow the directions to the home on the sheet that is sent to you and you will find it easily.

location was great. house is huge can easily accommodate more than 10 people. it would have been great if there was a Jacuzzi.

Private and calm location . very beautiful view on the deck. Very clean and well maintained place with a well equipped kitchen . We all also loved the game room and spent a good amount of time in there .

We had four couples for a quick weekend getaway and enjoyed this beautiful home very much - so much room and close to Murphys for strolling, ice cream and wine tasting.

The home is good to be a mansion, and with views to remember.
We went with our extended family and had a memorable weekend at the house. Everything is kept clean and in order.

Something for everyone. This is a big place but homey at the same time. We were able to do so much, walked to the apple place for donuts and apple juice, went to the caverns, walked Murphy’s. Things were very close to the house and it’s a great base to come back to. We didn’t want to leave. Would definitely stay here again!

Great, clean, a bit dated cabin to hang in while exploring the forest with kids and 4-legged friend. The place has everything one needs without excesses like jacuzzi or modern updates to appliances. There is no grill.

Fantastic cabin with lots of sleeping spaces - worked great for our family and friends to tuck kids and babies in various bedrooms. Our 2.5 yo loved the toys and playroom downstairs. Location is great - super convenient to bop down to Big Trees for a hike or down to Arnold for the plethora of trails down there. All in all a great place for a large group (we were 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and a baby), would definitely recommend!

Lots of space. Several sleeping option. Well equipped house, including kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Everything is functional, ie took no time to figure out all the house controls.

Our combined family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was well equipped, very clean and had a lovely view. The neighborhood was very quiet and serene. The location is very near Calaveras Big Trees State Park and not too far from the Big Trees Market in Arnold. There are a lot of stairs (inside and out) so probably not ideal for elders or toddlers.

Cabin perfectly nestled in the Camp Connel, close to many activities—lakes and hike trails which was perfect. The location had plenty space for my big family, and a plus that it’s dog friendly. They provide a binder with check in/check out instructions as well as a list of things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin, probably even better in the winter. Not quite enough windows for us, when you're in the woods one could use more natural light. The whole place feels very dark. Liked all the beds, however. Good place for a group.

The cabin was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom items were well stocked. It was a very comfortable cabin and we had a great stay! It is a very comfortable cabin and could accommodate two families very well. We had a couple of concerns that were addressed and would definitely love to stay there again!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy and warm home. We loved the natural surroundings and the cleanliness of the house.

Our two families loved our stay! The place was spotless, there were plenty of toys, and the furniture was comfy. We may very well return next year!
